  • Many families served by the Food Bank have at least one employed adult in the household but still struggle to make ends meet.

  • Families facing hunger are often forced to choose between purchasing food and paying for other necessities, such as rent, utilities, or medication.

Food Distribution and Community Partnerships

  • The Food Bank of the Golden Crescent partners with over 70 non-profit agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens, and trasitional housing in our community to supply food for distribution to their clients.

Children Facing Hunger

  • One in four children in the Food Bank’s 11-county service area faces hunger.

  • Through the Kids’ Weekend Meals Program, the Food Bank helps ensure children have nutritious food to eat when school meals are unavailable over the weekend.

Seniors Facing Hunger

  • The Food Bank provides monthly food boxes (CSFP) to qualifying seniors to help supplement their nutritional needs.
